Essential oils have been used for nearly 6,000 years, with the aim of improving a person’s health or mood. Each of our products contains a range of essential oils which have been found to have various degrees of antimicrobial activity and are believed to have antiviral, nematicidal, antifungal, insecticidal, and antioxidant properties. Every product includes essential oil blends that calm, detoxify, and reduce anxiety.

Helichrysum essential oil comes from the Helichrysum italicum plant, also known as, "The Everlasting Flowers". Helichrysum is the Latin name for a flowering plant meaning “immortal” or “everlasting.” The Helichrysum oil has  antifungal, and antibacterial properties along with its primary purpose- anti-inflammatory. The anti-inflammatory properties of helichrysum work to reduce symptoms related to an infection, such as swelling, pain, and redness. Some herbalists even say helichrysum essential oil can be a “holistic first aid kit,” because they believe the oil is a useful treatment for many wounds including topical. 

Jojoba oil contains many natural forms of vitamin E, working with our skin as an antioxidant, helping to fight oxidative stress caused by everyday life. Jojoba Oil is a humectant ingredient, meaning it creates a protective barrier on our skin preventing it from losing moisture. Another advantage is that it's non-comedogenic. This means that our all natural hemp soaps will lead to less build up on your skin preventing the clogging of pores, leading to less breakouts. Jojoba oil also contains antimicrobial and bacterial properties as well as being hypoallergenic. Jojoba oil helps produce collagen as well as its ability to reduce acne scarring. The anti-inflammatory and healing properties of Jojoba oil can largely be contributed to the high concentration of vitamin E, helping soothe conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. Vitamin E when combined with other antioxidants can help protect our skin from sun damage, adding moisture and healing symptoms of sunburn. 

Shea Butter is used in many of our products due to its amazing ability to moisturize, soothe skin, and reduce inflammation. When you apply shea topically, these oils are rapidly absorbed into your skin, restoring lipids and rapidly creating moisture. Shea butter helps create a barrier between your skin and the environment holding in moisture to keep our skin healthy and smooth.
